Meet the winners of Britain’s Funniest Class 2022!

Voyager Class from Hitchin’s Whitehill Junior School have been crowned this year’s BFC champs!

It took a large, fiercely dedicated team of joke counters to go through the stacks of entries for this year’s Britain’s Funniest Class and the results are in!

So, without any further do, we’re proud to announce that Voyager Class from Hitchin’s Whitehill Junior School are this year’s winners with a the blammest joke that earned a staggering 43.4% of the vote! 

Congratulations, Voyager Class!

he competition launched in May and teachers across the country were asked to send their class’s funniest jokes for a chance to win the ultimate Beano Trophy. 

The BFC judging panel featured top comedian and lol-machine, Suzi Ruffell who was on hand to whittle down the avalanche of votes to the best of the lot!

Then it was down to you to vote for your favourite. Voyager Class sailed to victory, and as part of their prize, they’ve been turned into characters and will feature in the Beano comic in late June, as well as winning comic subscriptions and Beano books for the whole class!

Hats off to Edinburgh’s ESMS Junior School, who placed second with this totally epic joke!

And an honourable mention goes to Willow Class at Sprotbrough Orchard Infant School in Doncaster. They placed third in this year’s competition with this amazing rib-tickler!
