7 Things You Need to Know About Minions
Some very important facts about these odd creatures
1. Minions were originally meant to be big
Thankfully they got shrunk down for the films...much better
2. The Minions have a real language
It's called Minionese and is a really high-pitched combination of different human languages. There's some Russian, Chinese, Japanese and Korean in it. Plus lots of "banana".
3. There are only 48 different Minion shapes
Despite there being hundreds and hundreds of Minions, there can only be 48 different combinations of Minion bodies. So that means a lot of Minions look exactly the same!
4. Minions were partly based on Jawas from Star Wars
Oh and the Oompah Loompahs from Willy Wonka!
5. The evil Minions are purple because...
Purple is the opposite colour to yellow on the colour spectrum. The good and evil Minions are literally opposites!
6. They only have 3 fingers
That doesn't seem to bother them though!
